Sell BRSR compliance to the companies that must file it
Aaida ESG is BRSR reporting software for India’s listed companies. If you already have the ear of a CFO, a Company Secretary or a Head of Sustainability at a listed issuer, there is a commission-earning partnership here — and a regulatory deadline doing the persuading for you.
- Top 1,000 listed companiesSEBI’s BRSR mandate — a named, finite target list
- FY 2026-27BRSR Core assessment or assurance reaches the full top 1,000
- Annual, not one-offBRSR repeats every filing year — and so can your commission
This is a live market, not a future one
You will not have to create the need. SEBI already did.
The buyer list is public
SEBI mandates the BRSR for the top 1,000 listed companies by market capitalisation. You can build a qualified target list in an afternoon — every prospect is named, ranked and obligated.
The deadline is dated
BRSR Core — the focused set of ESG attributes that must carry independent assessment or assurance — phases in by market-cap band and reaches the whole top 1,000 from FY 2026-27. Ranks 501–1,000 are preparing for their first assured Core right now.
It repeats every year
BRSR is part of the annual disclosure cycle, not a project with an end date. A customer you introduce once is a customer who files again next year — and the year after.
Who we are looking for
One qualification matters more than all the others: can you get a meeting with a listed company’s CFO, Company Secretary or Head of Sustainability? If yes, the rest we can teach you.
- ESG and sustainability consultancies — Already inside the reporting conversation, often before the software decision is made.
- Company secretarial and compliance advisory firms — You sit with the exact office that owns the filing.
- Audit and assurance practices — Where the assurance engagement is kept separate from the commission. We will structure that explicitly.
- Investor relations and listing advisers — You already handle what the market reads about your client.
- Enterprise software resellers and systems integrators — With existing CFO-office relationships at listed accounts.
- Independent advisers with board-level access — One good introduction is worth more to us than a long list of cold contacts.
This is probably not a fit if…
- Your network sits outside the listed universe — BRSR is not yet mandatory there, and the sales cycle shows it.
- You are looking for a lead list or a directory listing rather than making introductions yourself.
- You want to resell without ever being in the customer conversation.
- You want territory or sector exclusivity before a first closed deal. We will discuss it after one, not before.
How the programme works
Four steps, and you can stop at whichever one suits your firm.
- 01
Apply
Tell us which listed companies you can reach and the role you reach them through. That is genuinely the only thing we need in a first message.
- 02
Get enabled
A mutual NDA, then the rate card, a product walkthrough, demo access, the BRSR objections you will actually hear, and material your prospect can read without you in the room.
- 03
Register, then introduce
Register the opportunity before your client signs up, so attribution is unambiguous. Then stay in the room and co-present, or hand over to us — your call, deal by deal.
- 04
Earn
Commission on the fees we actually collect, at a rate agreed in writing before you introduce anybody — once at the referral tier, or across five years at the sales-channel tier.
Three ways to partner
Pick the one that matches how much of the deal you want to carry. You can move between tiers — the tier in force when you register an account is the one that governs that account for the life of the relationship, and only one tier is ever payable on a sale. Reselling is opened case by case, on a separate schedule, where it genuinely suits your practice better than referring.
| ReferralIntroduce, and step back | Sales channelOwn the relationship | ResellerOn request — you bill your client | |
|---|---|---|---|
| You do | A warm introduction, with context on why the account is in scope. Staying in through the sales cycle earns the higher of two referral rates. | Introduction, joint discovery, you co-present and help close — and you stay the relationship owner afterwards. | Buy at a partner discount, set your own price, invoice your client and hold first-line support. |
| We do | Demo, pricing, negotiation, contracting, delivery and support. | Demo, pricing and contracting — alongside you. | Platform, plus second- and third-line support behind you. |
| Customer contracts with | Aaida, directly. | Aaida, directly. | You. |
| Commission | One-time, on the first qualifying sale. | Multi-year — paid across the customer’s first five years, at a rate that steps down each stage. | None. Your margin is the discount. |
| Paid when | We have actually been paid by the customer — quarterly, against your invoice. | We have actually been paid by the customer — quarterly, against your invoice. | You bill and collect directly. |
| Demo environment | Not included at this tier. | Included — your own evaluation access. | Included. |
| Credit risk | Ours. | Ours. | Yours. |
| Best for | Advisers who open a door and prefer to stay out of the commercials. | Consultancies that own the CFO relationship and intend to keep it. | Firms that want to own the billing relationship and the first-line support. |
What you get from us
Your own demo environment
A showcase tenant and a writable sandbox with sample data, so you can demonstrate the product yourself instead of booking us for every first call. Included from the sales-channel tier.
Terms in writing, first
Your commission rate, floors and caps are agreed and documented before you make a single introduction. No discovering the number after the deal lands.
Deal registration
Register an opportunity and the account is attributed to you for twelve months from our confirmation — so the introduction you made stays yours.
A named contact
One person at Aaida who knows your accounts. Not a shared inbox and not a ticket queue.
Material that does the work
A co-branded one-pager and a plain-English BRSR explainer your prospect can read and forward internally without you.
Regulatory updates
When SEBI moves, you hear it from us with the commercial implication already worked out — a reason to call your accounts.
On commercials, plainly
We do not publish commission rates on this page, for the same reason we do not publish product pricing: both depend on which BRSR format is in scope and the size of the issuer. The rate card is a real, costed schedule — we share it under a mutual NDA, before you introduce anyone.
Commission follows the money, not the signature. It is a percentage of the subscription fees we actually receive from the customer — not of the contract value, and not payable on an unpaid invoice. We pay quarterly against your invoice.
Tax, plainly. Rates are quoted gross, before tax deducted at source. We deduct TDS at the rate in force and send you the Form 16A, so what lands is net of that deduction and is not a shortfall. You invoice GST on top. Hold a lower-deduction certificate? Send it and we apply it.
Register the lead before your client signs up. We confirm or decline within five business days — declining only where the account is already an Aaida customer or in our pipeline. From our confirmation, the account is attributed to you for twelve months.
There is no joining fee, no stock to buy, and no sales quota unless one is written into your schedule — and missing a quota that is written in is not a breach.
Questions we get asked
Do I need to be a BRSR expert already?
No. We will train you on the regulation and the product, and you can lean on us for the technical parts of a call. What we cannot supply is your relationship with the issuer — that is the half you bring.
We provide assurance services. Can we still partner?
Talk to us before you register anything. Where your firm performs the BRSR Core assessment or assurance for a company, we will keep that engagement and any commission structurally separate, so independence is not put in question. We would rather lose a commission than put your practice at risk.
When exactly do I get paid?
Commission is earned on subscription fees we have actually received — so a signed contract that has not been paid does not yet earn one. We settle quarterly, within thirty days of quarter end, against your invoice. If a customer payment is later refunded or reversed, the matching commission is adjusted against your next payout.
Can I also bill the client for my own implementation work?
Not under the referral or sales-channel tiers — there, commission is your sole compensation from us and the customer contracts with Aaida directly. If you want to deliver and bill your own services around the platform, that is the reseller path, and it is a different schedule with different pricing, invoicing and support terms. Tell us which model you want and we will send the right one.
Is there a fee to join?
No. No joining fee, no certification charge, no minimum commitment.
Do you give territory or sector exclusivity?
The default appointment is non-exclusive. Deal registration protects the specific accounts you bring in, which is what matters most in practice. Exclusivity for a named segment can be written into your schedule — that is a conversation we would rather have once there is a track record to base it on.
How long do these deals take to close?
They follow the reporting calendar more than they follow a sales process. Conversations that start well before a filing deadline close faster than ones that start inside it — which is why the accounts preparing for FY 2026-27 are worth approaching now.
Can I partner from outside India?
The mandate is Indian and so are the issuers. If your relationships reach the finance or sustainability function of an India-listed company, where you are based matters much less than who you can call.
Tell us who you can reach
One short message is enough to start: the companies or the segment you can reach, and the role you reach them through. We will come back with the programme terms and a time to talk.
No deck required.
